I make different kinds of works: from drawings and graphics to photos, mixed media and – in the past – (video) installations.

Much of what I make is driven by the question of what or who determines what we experience as true and real. Many works revolve around perspective – in time and in space. In search of a reality that does not deny what has been or could have been, I often let different times, perspectives or spaces coincide in my works.

I studied visual arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and psychology and communication science at the University of Amsterdam. I live and work in Bergen (NH), the Netherlands.
